A provincial town. Between the old walls, in nightly outings along the seafront, and in the enchantment of a brief incursion into nature, the everyday rites and hopes of four girls take place. Their friendship is not the result of overwhelming passions, common interests or great ideals. They are not drawn together by similarities, but by habits, occasional enthusiasms, inoffensive contrasts, and feelings cultivated in secret. Their friendship, though, is unique and unrepeatable, just as unique and unrepeatable are the few days of the trip they take together to Belgrade where they are awaited by a mysterious friend and an unlikely possibility for work. |
